Business Developer
Role Purpose/Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development and Client Service professional to help drive the continued expansion of our Head Office Team.
Our core focus is to provide insurance broking services to Commercial clients and their portfolio companies.
We are looking for a motivated individual who can proactively seek out and identify new business opportunities, aligning them with the appropriate GIB teams to generate deal flow and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective deals.
Person Specification:
- Proven Business Development Experience: Strong track record in Business Development and client service, ideally within the insurance industry, with a demonstrated ability to independently generate new business and build long-term relationships.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with private and professionals and other stakeholders whilst maintaining a superior work ethic, with an acute awareness of time management and transaction deadlines.
- Client-Facing Experience: Experience working in a client-facing environment, preferably within professional services or related industries. Enjoy networking and socialising with clients.
- Insurance Knowledge: Some experience with insurance products is preferred but not essential. However, a willingness to learn and quickly develop expertise in insurance products and services is crucial.
